Well it is that time of year again! IT'S CHRISTMAS! YEA!
It is time to get ready. See my wife is doing her part.
A December sunrise from our house
We at the White house try to do something every year that is kind of a tradition. My wife bakes about 20 dozen sugar cookies and then invites our kids over to help frost and decorate them. This year was no different. Most of the time we pass them out to family, friends, and neighbors.
Another thing we try and do is go around town and see houses lit up with Christmas lights, One such place is the neighborhood of Winterhaven. Almost every house in this neighborhood has lights and some sort of theme out front. It takes about 2 hours and is well worth the walk, or you could ride in the horse drawn wagons. This year We went with our daughter Lori and her family Aaron, Adaya, and Brynlee.
Also we like getting together with family and friends at this time of year and have some chaotic fun. This year we had a small get together at our house with our grown children and friends from Green Bay, WI.
